We have made PS reservations for April 1st at Boma's at 7:40 p.m. I'm wondering if we should change this to a breakfast so there would be more opportunities to see the animals and it might be easier on the pocketbook, too. We have 2 girls - ages 12 & 15. Any advice would be appreciated.

Both are great but I prefer dinner.

Neither DH nor myself enjoyed Boma for breakfast at all. We thought it was WAY overpriced and the food just wasn't great. I read a lot of great reviews about the breakfast, however, so maybe we just went on an off day?

Although their breakfast is hearty and delicious, it is "regular" food. (If you do breakfast, have their juice mix - forget the name - it's tasty). Boma's dinner, on the other hand, is REALLY good and interesting. There is a variety of African-influenced dishes that you can't get anywhere else in WDW, with a "kid's pod" of plain food, too. the desserts are worth writing home about, too. For a true Boma experience, dinner is the one to pick.

Also, the animals are usually a little more active around dusk/feeding time, and their is a storyteller at the fire pit in the evening!

We have done both. The breakfast is wonderful, but not too much African style dishes. Dinner is terrific and a great variety. I can't choose which I like best so we are doing both in June.

Go for the dinner. The breakfast is the usual but the dinners are something else all together. yum yum yum

When I saw this topic, my first thought is BOTH! We have had delicious breakfasts & dinners at Boma's. If you are going there for dinner, bring your appetite! You can look at the buffet before making a definitive decision if need be. We had a picky eater with us who took one look at the choices & decided not to eat at Boma's. I gave her directions to Mara's & told her to come back in an hour :).
