Anyone know the code? I forgot it....

CTN - this is the room only from feb.- april 17 (i think?); must book by feb. 9th. I used this code for my april trip and got sav. view for $239/night. Rack rate would be $365! I'm saving $630!!

This is interesting....We purchased Dream Maker Package, 4 nights, 02, 17-21, 2004. We purchased this on a Canadian visa card, with the deal where they had Canadian $$ @ par. We ended up paying the $365/night at AKL for standard Savannah view. Seeing this promo, does this now mean that I can go back to my TA and ask them to apply this code (CTN) as well...??
It would be great if I could do so, would save me about $500....

hope you can help....

Hi. I am not a travel agent but I am afraid that FROM WHAT MY UNDERSTANDING IS, packages are completely different animals from room-only reservations (which is what this code is for). I think you'll find that you are NOT able to use this code. You are too close to your travel dates to get out of your package without penalty, anyway.
Someone else will be able to help you better. I'm sorry - I know this isn't the answer you're hoping for.
Have fun on your trip! Just so you know, AKL is worth it!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Ode,

Unfortunately, you can't apply that discount as well. But if you got the "Canadian Visa at Par" rate you should effectively be paying around $251.85 US/night ($365 US x .69 = $251.85). Disney calculates the "at par exchange rate" so that you pay approximately the same in Canadian dollars as you would pay if paid rack rate in US$. So you're really getting 31% off the rack rate.

But...with the "actual" exchange rate you should end up paying approximately $333 Canadian rather than $365 Canadian (Disney's exchange rates are sometimes "off" when they have these promotions due to our constantly changing dollar. :) ) Plus I believe the Park Hopppers were "At Par" as well...a real savings bonus.

I hope this is not too confusing. If you hop over to the Canadian Board, it all gets discussed a fair amount over there.

thank you DisneyLisa & Johnsonet. Appreciate your comments. I figured I was a bit too close to do any changing of my package. However, it makes me feel a bit better knowing that I probably would not have been able to get this done anyway...hence, I'm not losing out on any potential savings...

thanks, again.

ode.
