AKL -->ASMo after hours on WDW bus ??

I'm wondering what is the quickest route to get back to our hotel ASMo if we have a late dinner reservation at Boma? I noticed that the Animal Kingdom park is closed at 5pm that day. If we finished dinner at Boma at 8pm, how do I get back to my resort? Does the bus from AKL to Animal Kingdom still run at that time? I'm just worried since we don't have a car and will be relying on the Disney Bus to get us home.

Not too sure about going direct to ASMo, but you could always go via DTD or one of the later opening parks as the AKL buses will run to them right up til closing.

If the AK is closed there will no longer be bus service to this park. You can take a bus to any open theme park and change to your resort bus from there. Epcot is normally opened until 9pm so you can definitely get a bus from the AKL to there. Also, one of the parks will likely have an evening EMH that night so you can take the bus to that park and switch to your bus.
If you want the fastest way back you can always take a taxi. Taxis are normally waiting outside all WDW resorts. If one is not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away.

I would say that since the All Star Resorts are close to AKL, I would just get a taxi if you were looking for the quickest way to get back. Otherwise it could be a 45 minute trip.

At least, especially if you have to wait a while for a bus on each leg.

a taxi would cost less than $10 and it is a 5 minute trip.

Thanks for the quick reply everyone. I didn't think about using DTD bus to get back to our resort. That might be a good idea for us since we wanted to check out DTD at night one of these evening.
