We are staying for 8 nights in June with MIL and FIL. We have requested connecting rooms and are wondering if there are any bunk bed rooms that are connecting. Does anyone know if there are either bunk bed/queen connecting rooms or bunk bed/bunk bed connecting rooms? Thanks!

I believe that all connecting rooms at the AKL would be the queen/queen and queen/bunk configuration. That is what I was told by the AKL concierge.

When we stayed at AKL in 2002, we had connectiong rooms - one had 2 queens, the other had 1 queen and bunkbeds. It worked out great for us :D . I'd love to stay for 8 nights!

Hope you have a great vacation!!

Hi Tracy! Wow and I thought I was busy with 4 kids :). Did the room with the bunks seem roomier than the queen and would you recommend it over the 2 queen room for the extra space? Any downside to the bunk rooms? Thanks!

Sandy

Hi :D !

Yes, we did think the bunkbed room felt roomier than the queen room. I can't think of a downside to it! Oh, except that there didn't seem to be much overhead room in the lower bunk - no problem - our oldest son just slept in the queen bed. Our younger children took turns in the bunks. They loved it :D .

AKL is a beautiful resort. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
