AKL animal viewing areas

We've only been to AKL once - at night for a quick tour of Christmas decorations and a late dinner at Boma...but now, we are going next week for a meal and wanted to take the opportunity to explore a bit and see the animals. I looked at the AKL FAQ thread and read that there are public viewing spots...but can someone tell me how to get to them and/or which are the best ones to check out? My DS is going to be amazed by the savannah - can't wait to see his face!

If you go thru the main lobby, down the stairs and out the back doors you should have no problems finding the viewing spots. If in doubt just ask one of the many CMs that you are sure to see everywhere. Hope you all have lots of fun.
