I have a question to pose forth to you guys, I recently called the CRO to add a few requests to our room. With that being said, how many times have your special requests been accepted? and another question is have you guys ever been upgraded to a suite or anything along those lines? Just because, when we called about maybe changing our reservation from AKL to AKV the agent said that if there are rooms open it doesnt hesitate to ask at check in... which makes me wonder if this can really happen. I always request Zebra Trail and always have gotten it
The 2 times I had standard view booked I was upgraded to savannah view rooms. Actually, one other time I got a Deluxe pool view. Most rooms at AKL are savannah view, so if they are overbooked, you could easily get bumped up. But to avoid disappointment, please assume that you will get what you have reserved.
