AKL/AKV and Aroma

Hello

I would like to stay at AKL/AKV but my DH says that with the animals just outside it probably smells of dung when out on the patio.

Does anyone know?

I just wondered as I prefer the smell of flowers

We've stayed there twice and NEVER smelled anything like that!! DH should not worry...

We have stayed at AKL three times. Once in November, once in July and once in December. We have never smelled anything offensive.

I had dinner at Boma with some friends a couple of weeks ago, and we spent quite a bit of time in the viewing areas before dinner. Never smelled any kind of animal 'aroma'. In fact, we commented on the lack of odor.

Come to think of it, I've never noticed any animal odors at the AK park, either.

Well, I did just remember something...when you get close up and personal to the flamingo area behind the pool, you will smell a distinct aroma. You can avoid it by avoiding that area. Since it's near the back, no need to go there!
