I have a parking lot view booked and called this morning to upgrade to a Savannah view and they have no rooms available. Is this a busy time of the year plus is it worth staying here for the parking lot view? I'm SO disappointed as I was trying to save money to be able to afford the Savannah view. Now what should I do??

Are you trying to get a discounted Sav View room? Is is a holiday weekend and that could be the problem. If you are trying to get a discounted room I would wait until check in and ask if you can be upgraded for a fee.... I am sure there are still sav rooms left at rack rate.

Well I have the parking lot view booked under the BDP code, if I try to upgrade at checkin, how much will the upgrade be, has anyone done this before? :jumping4:

They probably only had a limited number of savannah view rooms with the BDP code. Those are the rooms that are probably unavailable. We'll be arriving 2/12 with a party of 21! I'm hoping for a complimentary upgrade at check-in (it happened last time); if not, it'll still be a great trip. It truly is a beautiful place. You'll still enjoy your stay.

I read somewhere that there are approximately 1200 rooms at AKL and only about 170 or so are parking lot views; so I would think they would still have savannah rooms available.
