Akershus or 1900 Park Fare Breakfast?

You had asked about transportation from POFQ to GF. While a cab is probably the most efficient and quickest way, depending on what time your ADR is, you can take WDW transportation although you will need a good amount of time (at least 45 min).

The way to do that via WDW transportation would be to take a bus to MK then transfer to the resort monorail. Keep in mind the GF would be the last stop on the loop once you board the monorail. (would go to CR, TTC, Poly, GF & then back to MK).

This is a scenic way to go (and it would give you the chance to ride the monorail), but it will probably take a least 45 minutes. The time waiting for the bus to MK and then the 15 minute ride there and then you'd have to walk up to the monorail and wait on that which could be another 10-15 min or more, then the trip around the loop would be another 10 minutes or so.

So do keep all that in mind. Whatever you do, enjoy!!:goodvibes

Whew, I'm tired just thinking about this. J/K! ;) Thanks so much for the info, I guess we'll play it by ear and see if we're taxi people or bus/monorail people that morning. I think the buses start running at about 7ish for early ADRs? Thanks again. :goodvibes

Regarding transportation, we took a cab from POFQ to GF and it was $20 but it was worth it. I can hardly tolerate the bus system and trying to take it to MK and then transfer to the monorail would have been too much of a pain for me. We had our b'fast later in the week so I was ready for a break from bussing and enjoyed being driven straight to the hotel. It was so nice and relaxing at that point in the trip. After b'fast then we got on the monorail and enjoyed the scenic route back but it was nice not to be stressing or having to leave super early to get to the adr on time.

That's what I'm thinking...a taxi would cut down on my stress level that early in the morning. I mostly don't mind the buses but getting 3 other people up and out that early in the morning is going to be a task in itself, so knowing that all we would have to do is hop into a taxi would be a treat, at least for me. Thanks very much for your help.

We loved both but if I could only pick one it would definately be Norway! We thought the character interaction was probably the best of all the character meals we attended. We loved the food; hot and cold. We thought the little buffet was terrific and the family style eggs, meats and potatoes were Yum:thumbsup2

Thanks for your review. :) Nothing's cast in stone as of yet, can't make my ADRs until June 2, but we've decided on 1900 Park Fare this time, mostly because Lauren is really excited about meeting Alice and the Mad Hatter more so than the princesses. The food sounds yummy at both breakfasts though.
