Hi,

I am trying to decide whether to do lunch or dinner at Akershus. To be honest, we weren't going to do any character meals this time, but I am feeling bad about my 3 year old who is crazy about the princesses. It's too late to get into CRT for May, which I would have preferred, so I think we're going to go with Akershus.

Just hoping for some opinions on whether we should do breakfast or lunch. I'm thinking that if I get one of the last breakfast reservations, that can double as a lunch too and we won't have to eat again until dinner. But I am wondering about which menu is better.

Any help would be wonderful. Thank you!!! :goodvibes

If you are paying cash, do lunch.

If you are on dining plan, the dinner gives better "bang for buck".

I should have mentioned that we are paying OOP - no dining plan. I guess this would make a difference!

Can I vote for breakfast? I found the lunch food to be a little strange, havent done dinner. My kids preferred the breakfast food there.

I agree with PP, try for a late breakfast! We liked it so much in '07, we booked it again for our upcoming trip.

I vote for breakfast! We had breakfast there on our last trip, and this is one of the few places we are planning on booking for our next trip.

I would think that if you book a later breakfast, you would not need to eat until dinner time.

Have fun!

We have eaten there when DD was 2, 3, and 4. We have done lunch and dinner. We prefer doing lunch. DD really enjoys it at lunch. By dinner, she is a little bit tired and restless. She still has fun, but it doesn't seem like she is getting as much fun out of it as she does at lunch. As for breakfast, DD is not an early bird so getting her to a park for a pre-park opening breakfast is not easy. As for doing breakfast at park opening, we like spending the morning getting things done over in Future World, instead of sitting at breakfast.

I would say given the choice I enjoyed breakfast the most, otherwise go for lunch! :goodvibes
