There isn't a huge $ difference between the two. Is there better value to go at dinner or is the food at breakfast much better?

Princess interaction about the same between the two? We aren't going for the food necessarily but would like to maximize the quality of the meal.

TIA

We went in Dec for breakfast and had the 8:30am slot which was the first of the day so we were able to walk through Epcot without anyone in sight. That was such a beautiful bonus. Plus then when we got to the restuarant, we were seated in the section that the princesses visit first so we saw them right after we finished breakfast, no waiting. The food was very good also. I did a full report on it in my dining report in my signature. I don't think we would do the dinner since the menu does not appeal to my daughter.

We did the breakfast with the princesses also and had the early reservation time. I think the breakfast menu is more likely to be considered edible to most Americans whereas the dinner is more uniquely Norwegian. That's not to say the dinner couldn't be good, I'm just generalizing for the average person in the U.S., breakfast is probably a safer choice.

Breakfast is great, we went 2 weeks ago, pics and review are in my Jan link. Breakfast works out better for our nieces since they love all breakfast foods and have huge appetites in the morning

I say it depends on your family and their tastes. We've done both dinner and breakfast and prefer breakfast. The interaction was the same with both, however, my girls are picky eaters and did not care for the Norwegian food. We all loved the breakfast food. If your family are adventurous eaters, I say go for the dinner for a unique experience. However, if they are picky, I would stick with the traditional American breakfast.

We have done both and definately would say breakfast. Not being very adventurous eaters breakfast suited us better.

I don't think you can go wrong with the breakfasts. It is a favorite of my family. My DS 17 has already requested that meal for our June trip.

I'm guessing it's for the Princesses. ;)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. We are gonna do the breakfast. Mom and Dad would be fine with the dinner but I know that breakfast for the girls is a sure thing and it gives us an opportunity to get into EPCOT early.

We decided to go with breakfast. I'm not much for Scandinavian food, so I doubt my DD3 would go for it.

I see you are going with breakfast, but for anyone else reading this for answers...
We booked dinner in November because my DD7 is named after Ariel and LOVES her. She is rarely there at breakfast and normally is there for dinner. For us we didn't care about the food, it was all about seeing Ariel with her feet. The food was better then we planned. It was my dh's favorite dinner (including LeCellier, Cali Grill, etc). He had salmon. I had the pasta, it wasn't good but that's what I get for chickening out on trying something new. The salad bar was great as was the desserts. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Plus, we got to see Ariel with no fins.

No character is ever guaranteed, but she typically only appers at dinner. So, you could see her at lunch, but probably not and you might not see her at dinner, but most likely you will. That is how it was explained to me by the dining people at Disney.

Going to book breakfast when our 90 day window opens in a week's time - what is the time of the last sitting? - Deb's site states the times as 8.30am to 10.10 which seems a very short timespan - we were hoping for 10.30 (or even later) so we could hit Soarin and get a fast pass for Test Track before breakfast.

Good question. Does anyone know what the latest seating is for breakfast? :confused3

We are doing breakfast because the food just seemed "safer" for us.

When I called the last breakfast seating was either 11:10 or 11:30 am.

I would think they would have both breakfast and lunch items at 11-1130 seatings? Anybody know?

They said all breakfast but when I asked for questions here some people had late seatings and said they felt rushed and that they didn't replenish the food well. So I changed our seating to 9:50.

We have an ADR for breakfast. The menu sounds pretty good. Just wondering approx- how many princesses normally will you see? I heard some people say they rush by- is this so?

The princesses should not rush but they will have to be a bit faster with the interactions if the restaurant is full. Unfortunately they are only given a certain amount of time to see all the tables and cannot spend as much time as they would like with kids if the restaurant is completely booked.
