Akershus Breakfast Changes

The brown sweet Norwegian cheese (not sure what it's called) is my favorite part. I hope that is still offered!
It comes under the category of Brunost cheeses. In the US, Ski Queen's Gjetost, made with goat's milk, is readily available in many supermarkets. I don't know whether Akershus uses that particular brand or some other.

Edit: I just looked at the Akershus menu. While the lunch menu just says "imported cheeses", the breakfast menu explicitly mentions Gjetost. I used to think that Gjetost was a brand name, which would make it precisely the Ski Queen product I mentioned above, but the Wikipedia page suggests that in Scandinavia, gjetost is a generic term for a Brunost (brown cheese) made from goat's milk.

My wife the Herring umpteen different ways. That was a long time ago.
I could make a meal of the herring and lox (gravlax) alone, and yes, it used to have more varieties. It also used to be an easy walk-in, no reservation needed. But apparently Disney will do whatever it takes to keep the reservation book filled.

Was there a lot of fish? If so that would explain my never eating there.
Yes a lot of fish was on the buffet. Also shrimp and cheeses and salads including a meat salad that I thought was to die for.
