I have a few questions about the princess dining:

In your opinion.... What is better food... Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner? We are on dining plan, so any will work?

What princesses are there and are you able to catch more at a particular time (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner)?

Thanks! :goodvibes

I am all about lunch or dinner (especially dinner). The cold buffet is the BEST! Amazing pickled herring, lox, salads and the caramel cheese!!! It's a smoked goat cheese but it looks and tastes like sliced caramel. The trout is wonderful. And the desserts are great especially the rice cream.

The Princesses come to each table and will interact or not depending on the guest. There is always a Princess in the lobby to take a picture with. I skip this because (a) I am a "theme character" for a few months a year and people take pictures with me as part of my job. I'm not inclinded to take pictures with other Princesses. Mickey is different. LOL! and (b) it keeps me from my main goal - the food!

I'm partial to the breakfasts there, myself.

The past couple of years we've had Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora. The first year, it was Snow White, Mulan, Ariel, Aurora, and Jasmine.

My family prefers breakfast. We have done this breakfast 3 times. There is one princess in the lobby for the photo package. It seems to usually be Belle, but we did have Aurora once. The rest of the princesses come around to the tables while you are eating. They will pose for pictures and sign autographs. We seem to always see Aurora, Snow White, Ariel and Jasmine. We have seen Cinderella there twice. Last year we also had Mary Poppins.

Since you're on ddp, you should probably decide based on what you want to eat. We love the food at Akershus, but we also love most European food -- that's what you'd get at lunch and dinner. Lunch is our pick, because that's always more than enough food for us. Breakfast is more like breakfast elsewhere in WDW, so if your family might turn their noses up at Norwegian food you should go with that.

I don't think there are more princesses at any of the seatings, but you'll always get a variety with some major and minor princesses...although we've never had Mary Poppins.

If you do CRT, it's also nice to get early entry into the park, if they still do that.
That was always my favorite, I loved being in the castle....
