I just made reservations there today for my visit in May. I called for the one in MK, but couldln't get in. I thought 5 princesses! That's great!... Then I looked up the food. Oh, boy! I may have made a mistake here. I'm really picky. I am sure that I can survive and I will probably try something, but I don't want to pay that much and come out hungry.
The two hour thing scares me to death. We have one girl and two boys. I don't see them being too patient for that. This will be an adventure at the very least!
We were there just over an hour - about the same time it takes us for any TS.
I too am very picky & thought there was nothing on the menu I'd eat, and was sure I'd be hungry - since we had the
free dining I booked it anyway so DD could see Ariel. Was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked, and did not leave hungry.
I can't say it was our favorite meal, but it was a good meal.
DD is more adventerous & ordered vension. Convinced me to take one bite - and it was very good. No "weird" taste - if I didn't know what it was I would have thought it was beef.
Many posts recommended the kjottkaker (not sure of spelling), and it's what the CM suggested too, so I ordered it - with the plan of trading it for DD's chicken. Turned out it was good too - and I don't normally eat one of the ingredients.
To OP: Sure, there's some Norweigen foods, but on both the cold appetizer buffet & entrees, there's "normal" things. For example, potato salad, ham, cheese on the buffet (I steered clear of herring, bravely tried the goat cheese & hated it). Chicken & pasta for entree.
Kids meal is typical: pasta, chicken, even a hot dog.
Dessert was really good.
And Cinderella was at our dinner last fall.
