Where are these vouchers purchased? Do you have to buy them right when you enter the parK? What are the adult and child price (my son is 3)?

Here's the information from Deb Willis website:

DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM
MEAL PLUS CERTIFICATES GOOD HERE!

Guests ages 12 and up $11.99

Guests ages 3-11 $5.99

Certificate is good for:

One counter service entree plus a beverage at any of the following: Animal Kingdom
counter service restaurants:
Restaurantosaurus, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari, Tusker House.
One box of popcorn or an ice cream bar
One bottled drink (soda or water)

The certificates can be
purchased at any Animal Kingdom counter service restaurant and also
at Guest Relations in the park.

I hope they continue this with the free dining thing going on in Aug./Sept. It's nice to have lunch, then grab the ice cream on your way out of the park!

We love using the AK vouchers. Probably the best deal on property, especially when you consider how good the counter service at AK is. We're planning on using them again next week!

I read the weekly newsletter from allearsnet yesterday and someone mentioned that these vouchers were discontinued- see quote below


Columnist Anita Answer, who is in the World as we go to press, reports: The Animal Kingdom Meal Plus Certificates are no longer available at that theme park's restaurants. I'm not sure when they stopped offering them, but when I tried to buy one today I was told they are not available any more.

Does anyone have any info on this????

I also read Deb's newsletter and if it is reported that they are unavailable, I would think that is about as accurate as you can get. We loved those vouchers!

I hope they are wrong. I purchased them around the 4th of July. I love the deal. What a great buy.

Sorry to say as of last Friday these were discontinued. We used them last week and I overheard a manager at Tusker House telling the CM in training that was waiting on us that she wouldn't have to worry about these after friday. Sure enough when we went back this last Monday they were no longer available. It was a great deal but I suspect the new meal plan did them in.
