Our family stayed in a value 2-bedroom last spring. Surprisingly, we had both a sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair in the living room. I think our room was probably the exception and certainly wouldn't count on being able to sleep 5 in a value 1-bedroom. Just the luck of the draw I guess.
The one bedroom value that we had, had the chair, but it didn't open. There wasn't enough room. For the 3 adults, I thought that the value one bedroom was fine. The bedroom was stuffed with the furniture, you could barely close the door to the room. I think they could have left something out.
The standard one bedroom at AKV and BLT has a sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair and permits 5 people in the room. The value at AKV only has the sleeper sofa. My guide was saying that that is new to DVC to have both in the 1 bedrooms so that families of 5 are no longer restricted to blow up beds or 2 bedroom units.
