Hi all. I will we touring AK this summer with four adults, and five kids seven and under. Since it will be hot we plan to get there early and leave around 1 PM. I'm trying to figure out how to best utilize this time. I want to make Dinoland our "home base" so to speak as I think the kids will enjoy this land the most. The adults definitely want to ride EE at least once. I'm hoping to get some input on a couple items here. Thanks in advance.

1) If we get FP for EE at park opening what time would we expect the return time to be?
2) If we don't head over to Africa to get FP for KS until mid morning would my FP return time be well after 1 PM? I'm trying to figure out how quickly to head over there to obtain FP without having to do much park crossing.
3) My DS is six, and loves thrill rides. He doesn't scare easy. Do you think he'd like Dinosaur?

Your questions depend a lot on what time of year and the crowds. You might be best off to ask this over on the Theme parks attractions and strategy board.

From my experience, go straight to Africa and ride KS first thing, the animals are much more active earlier than they are later. As far as EE is concerned, I rode it 8 times in one day the day before Thanksgiving; the secret; single rider line. If the adults are willing to split up, you can ride it 2,3, or even 4 times in an hour on a crowded day. BIG FUN!!!!! I'm not sure of the age on Dino, it is really a bumpy ride but the audio-animatronics are very realistic as well as big, loud and close. I suppose it depends on the kid. Have fun!!!!
