Animal Kingdom is so packed today. I think it's a recommended park. I've never seen it this busy this time of May...

It is a recommended park, but it is Saturday and it is open until 8pm. Easywdw predicts the resort to have a crowd level of 7. If AK is that crowded the other parks may be even more crowded.

Not surprised by this. Epcot last night was shoulder to shoulder - every bit as busy as a Food & Wine weekend night.

I'm afraid the tourism/attendance game for Orlando has completely changed.

1st Quarter travel to Florida set another record - 28.4M, up 6.2% over the previous record which was Q1 of 2014.

I just got back from a trip May 2nd - 8th and the crowds were not too bad. I think this week there are a lot of school groups there. You probably will or have seen a lot of matching t-shirts. We ran into a few of them during our trip but it didn't affect us really.

You're completely right about the groups and the matching t-shirts. But I've been seeing groups like this virtually the whole year.
