AK to AKL at park closing

How long will it take to get from AK after it closes at 7pm to AKL? Then after having dinner at AKL, I will not be able to take a bus back to AK since the park is closed, right?

Bus from AK to AKL is pretty fast, I believe it's under 10m total travel time. You'd need to take a bus to another park to catch a bus to your resort.

If you are trying to get to another resort or park from AKL grab a taxi.

The actual bus ride from AK to AKL is short - about 10 minutes, but if you are leaving at park closing there will be many others leaving at the same time so you may have to wait longer at the bus stop if there is a long line. Disney recommends allowing 45 minutes when traveling from one destination to another. The good thing with AKL is if you are early there is so much to do - go outside and see the animals and talk with the cast members, look at the African art in the lobby and hallways, and visit the gift shop.

After dinner take the bus to an open park and transfer to your resort bus there or take a taxi. As a last resort, take the bus the DTD and transfer to your resort bus, but that often takes a really long time.

After a full day in a park and a dinner at another resort, a taxi back to your resort is very much worth the cost.
