AK table sevice

Will be visiting AK for one day in Feb. Currently have ADR for breakfast @ Tusker House and dinner at Yak & Yeti. Have read a lot about Boma and am thinking about changing my dinner reservations. I know this is very subjective but is one heads above the other? Any info is helpful and appreciated. Its just my husband and I (no kids).

oooh very tough call. Yak and Yeti was one of our best meals but Boma ain't nothing to sneeze at either.

I guess it would come down to: buffet, or TS?

Y/Y: lots of cool stuff they encourage you to go look at throughout the venue.
B: critters RIGHT outside the window. if you get embarrassed when two animals are getting to know each other VERY well, you may want to sit closer to the food stations heheheh.

with Boma I could sample little bites of stuff I wasn't sure about just in case.

AK closes at 5pm so leaving the park would not be an issue. Now that I think about it our dinner at yak & yeti is at 4:15..... a bit early really.

I think you must have Boma confused with Sanaa (in Kidani.) Boma is not next to one of AKL's savannahs, thus the only 'critters' you might see misbehaving through Boma's windows are humans.
Sanaa overlooks Sunset Savannah where the breeding herd of zebras were, although I believe the stallion has now been moved.

Thanks everyone for your replies. We decided to stay the course and do Boma on our next trip. My thinking is that with the park closing at 5pm and our early ADR at Yak & Yeti we'll have the whole evening open for the "I wish I had planned some time for that".
