AK Sunday or MGM Sunday day to switch resorts

I'm hoping for some assistance from the experts! We are staying onsite for the first time this trip. I'm used to planning strategy for our offsites stays. So I'm a newbie at this onsite stuff.

We are staying at Coronado Springs Saturday night for one night before we check into the Boardwalk Villas for 5 nights. I want to check in early on Sunday at the Boardwalk. I was thinking about leaving the family at the CSR, running to the BWV to checkin (we have a car), then head back to CSR. Then we would all go to the Animal Kingdom for the day until we head back to unload our stuff at the Boardwalk.

Now I'm wondering if it would be better for us all the head to BWV to checkin (early) and then go to MGM on Sunday. We could then save AK for Monday and take advantage of Early Entry.

I've definitely ruled out trying MK for the EE on Sunday. Any advice on which would be the better plan?

I would check into BWV early, check your luggage if your room is not ready, and head over to MGM - you can walk or take the boat. That way when you get tired you are a short walk or ride from your room and everything is already right there - much less running around.

AK is one of the best parks to use EMH (EE) at IMHO - the extra hour is a great time to do the safari - just be sure to get there at or just before opening - and be prepared to hop to another park if it gets very crowded by mid-day.

If it will effect your decision: Sunday's are often AK's lightest day of the week; Monday is heavy. However, Sunday is also a somewhat lighter day at MGM.
