AK strategy

DH and I have in the past alloted two days for AK. Never full days but then we realized we were doing almost nothing the second time we went. So we are doing it in one day, our girls will be almost 5 and 2.5 at the time of our trip. He does Dinosaur and I do Everest. Will probably both do Kali and of course the Safari. Wont do bugs life. Definitely hit the boneyard and camp minnie mickey. I dont know what I'm forgetting.
Any help on where to go first or good snacks would be great. We'll be on DDP. I know Flame Tree for CS .

Apparently stay 4 lengths off the pace and charge down the middle of the stretch.
Cereally, head straight to the Safari. While waiting the few minutes look at the show schedule. FotLK is an absolute must do. Nemo is worthy and the Wonder of Flight is a pretty good show. Off the safari, do the trail that is right there.
Save Kali for later when it's getting real hot. Do EE and the Dinosaur area and head to Flame Tree for lunch. Let the kids romp in the Boneyard, then head to Nemo if you decide to do it, then back around to Kali, and then Camp Minnie-Mickey and FotLK. You should be worn out just in time for the parade.
If you want to use snack credits for breakfast, Pizzafari has several choices as well as the standard CS breakfast.

We like to take the train over to Rafiki's and see what's going on over there. If you get there early in the morning, you can watch a vet procedure through a large window. They also have different reptiles and small animals there and they will let you see them up close (but no touching) and tell you all about them.

Kind of educational and very interesting.

And I agree - Nemo is a must-do!! We still have yet to see FotLK, but that's on our list this time around!
