We're getting ready to book a package for March 2017 when the prices come out in two weeks (yay!), and I'm trying to get our schedule loosely figured out as far as which park for which day because it affects our hotel reservations (we're planning a split stay).
One thing that's confusing me is the crowds at Animal Kingdom. Traditionally AK does EMH on Saturdays from 8-9am, so AK is "not recommended" that day on everyone's crowd calendars and AK is recommended on Sundays. However, when I look at the actual attendance at AK during the spring months over the past two years or so--Sundays are WAY busier than Saturdays (like 8 vs 6). Any ideas why?
I know the advice is to avoid the EMH park unless taking you are advantage of it, but that's what I can't decide. Should we go tentatively plan to go Saturday and use EMH? Or go Sunday at rope drop? Which do you think will actually be busier?
Thanks!
