AK Rainforest vs. DTD Rainforest

I am thinking of using MyPoints rewards for a Rainforest Cafe gift card to use at Disney next year. The Unofficial Guide says the one at AK is better than DTD. I'd actually rather eat at DTD since we like to walk around after we eat (we eat at DTD almost every night). Anyone have opinions about either location to share?

My parents and I always go to Rainforest location in Downtown Disney and everytime we go the servers have been great and the food has always been amaizing, so no complaints from us. Since we have not been to the location at the Animal Kingdom it would not be right for me to give my opinion about it.

I have been to both several times. I have not noticed a difference in food or service (enjoy them both, we love RFC). I always just visit the one that works with my touring schedule. I don't think you can go wrong with either!

The most I have heard is that the DTD location has worse service. I've had several people tell me this, but I can't confirm it myself. We went to AK in October and we were very happy with it overall. Service was great, so was food (enormous portions though!), and afterwards we went for a stroll through the park . . . and rode Dinosaur three times. I think it's all a matter of personal taste. I don't think you'll have any regrets going to one or the other because everyone has different experiences. Hopefully yours is great!
