AK Rainforest Cafe Parking

What is parking like for the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom? Do you park in the same lot as if you are going to the park itself? Or is there separate parking? Is there a time limit? Thanks!
Also, is there any pin trading at this restaurant? Like a pin book, maybe?

There is a little AK store right outside the gates you could go to.

I think its a little known fact that you can go here and park for free. Its the same akl lot as everyone else. We've never been given a time limit but we usually go for dinner and the park is near closing at that time.

If you are going for breakfast or lunch you will generally have to pay for parking as you will be using the main lot. I do not know if they will refund the fee. About an hour or so prior to park closing they stop collecting parking fees at the lot entrance.

Forgive me, but I am confused. It seems all 3 replies are a bit different. So, it is or isn't the same lot? What is the store? I've only been to AK one time and we paid the $14 or $15 to park that day to be in the park itself. It was over a year ago and I just don't remember seeing Rainforest Cafe and am confused.

Also, does anyone know if the restaurant has a pin book? Thanks, again!

1) Parking for AK is $15/day.
2) Even if ONLY going to Rain Forrest.
3) The confusion is that RF is actually outside of AK.
4) But, you still need to get there, which means going through the toll booth. *
5) Of course, you can take a resort bus to AK and avoid parking fees.


* Unless you are a CM, of course. But, there now is a guard to prevent
guests from entering through the CM entrance and parking for free. And,
this parking trick was used A LOT (no pun intended).
