AK PPO with ROL Viewing

We have an 8:40 Tusker House breakfast ADR with River of Light 1st viewing. The park opens at 9:00 that morning. We already have an FOP FP.

Would you keep or dump the Tusker House ADR? I'm not thinking it's going to benefit us at all in regards to getting in early since we wouldn't finish breakfast until after the park opens. Is the ROL Viewing part worth keeping the ADD?

I would keep trying to get either an earlier TH around 8:00 so you can take advantage of PPO or try for latest brft, around 10:30 - 10:45. Then you can keep your RoL package, which is nice to have. Not sure what time your FoP FP is in case that would interfere(since that you can't change!), but we like having late brft and can sample some lunch as they change the buffet over. Also allows you to take advantage of early time when lines are lower. We like to do Safari first thing and Pangani Trail, then head to brft, then do LK show all in the same area.

You can get a free account on Touring Plans, and use their reservation finder to put in the date and time you want at TH, and they send a text when one pops up, and you can try to log on and get it. It saves you from checking yourself as much. Also Dining Forum has a Cancelled ADR thread for each month where you can watch for people dropping one they don't need that you might be able to grab if it works for you.

Cassie, thanks so much! I was kind of thinking along the lines of what you said and for those reasons, including the breakfast over to lunch idea. I have the touring plans and mouse dining subscriptions/alerts set up. Ironically, I got a BOG dinner res just a little while ago by just randomly checking MDE.

I'm going to keep Tusker House for now, hoping a later time opens up where we can keep ROL.
