I'm looking for any feedback on our Animal Kingdom plan. This trip will be in June. We have plans to be in AK for EMH morning and then another evening later in the trip.
Monday Morning Animal Kingdom EMH 7:00
River Journey 8:00-9:00 FP
Safari 9:05-10:10 FP
Rapids 12:20-1:20 FP
1st Hour (7-8): Safari, Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, Explore Pandora
2nd Hour(8-9): River Journey FP, Tough to be a Bug, Discovery Island Trails
3rd Hour (9-10): Meet Mickey/Minnie, Jungle Trek, Explore Asia
4th Hour (10-11): Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch
5th Hour (11-12): Lion King Show 11:00, then lunch at Flame Tree BBQ
Kali River Rapids FP 12:20-1:20
**If we get Safari done during EMH change FP to ?

Thursday Evening Animal Kingdom
4:30-4:45 Nemo Show
6:20-7:20 Flight of Passage (Iffy on this not sure we want to ride, change to Dinosaur and ride Triceratop Spin and Primeval Whirl)
8:35-9:00 Rivers of Light
Watch Tree of Life Awakening, Look around Pandora in the dark
Suggestions for a quick service dinner in this area and when to try to fit in Expedition Everest?

1st hour 7-8am, you won't have enough time to do the Safari FP, trail, AND explore Pandora. Safari will take up about 30 min, the trail will take about another 20 or longer if you want to linger some. So you'll want to put more time elsewhere to check out Pandora

4th hour 10-11am. If you're seeing the 11am Lion King show, you won't have enough time at Rafikis planet watch which you have to ride a train to and from. I personally like to show up about 30 min prior to the Lion King show. So you might want to head to Rafikis more so in that 9-10am slot.

And as far as suggestion on a quick service, highly recommend Satu'li Canteen in Pandora. It might be the best quick service out of all the parks

I agree 100% and you can order your food on the app and pick it up when you get there.

If you are going to stand by the Lion King show at 11 a.m, I recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before. The FOTLK is the most popular show on Disney property (they say that while you are standing in line). I would plan Rafiki's Planet Watch at another part of your day.

If you want to see the first show of Rivers of Light on the second day, the stand by area when I was there filled up by 8:30. Just warning you. Also, are you planning to see the 5 p.m. Nemo Musical? Make sure you plan that it last for approx. 40 minutes.

I would ride Expedition Everest at least once during the day and another time after ROL at night. The ride is so much better at night in my opinion.

Thanks for the suggestions. We can cut out Rafiki's Planet a Watch if need be. I was also thinking of cutting out meeting Mickey/Minnie as we have Chef Mickey's also planned. I should have mentioned we have FP for the Nemo show and ROL on the evening day. Do we need to go early for FP or just come at the 8:35 return time?

I would show up an hour early for ROL still. The closer you are to the center of the theater, the better seats in my opinion. I think you should be find for Nemo. It just depends on where you would want to sit. As long as you have a FP and return at the time, you will get in.

I'm also going in June and I have similar fastpasses as you.

My plan is to do Flight of Passage during morning EMH. If I have time, explore Pandora while I'm waiting for 8:00 River Journey FP to open up. After River Journey, explore Pandora some more unless we're done with Pandora in which case we'll head over to Gorilla Falls while we're waiting for 9:00 Safari to open up. After Safari, do Gorilla Falls if we haven't already done it.

While waiting for the 11:00 Festival of the Lion King, we'll do either Discovery Island Trails or It's Tough to Be a Bug. Just depends on how hot it is and whether I want to sit down in the A/C or not:P

So FOTLK, Lunch, then Kali River FP. Jungle Trek while sopping wet(it'll keep us cool). Then it'll probably be nap time for me:D

I'm also planning an evening at AK.
Dinoland, Rivers of Light, then Expedition Everest, Tree of Life Awakening, and a walk around Pandora at night.

My plans are missing a few attractions but I discovered when I went to Disneyland that over scheduling made me feel stressed. So I just schedule what I really want to do and if I have time or energy I can always add more.

Hope you have a great trip! Mine is in 14 days. Eeeek!
