AK parade direction??

We're gonna be in WDW in January. I understand the parade goes from Africa around the tree and ends back in Africa. Can anybody tell me the direction it goes as well as what time it passes various parts of the park?

don't really know anything about what times the parade passes different locations in the park; maybe someone else might know that? As far as direction: if I remember corretly, the parade both starts and finishes in Africa. we watched the start of the parade from in front of the restaurant in Harambe(can't remember the name of the rest.) It came from the direction of the Kilamenjaro Safari past us, out of africa, continuing in a circular motion around the tree of life, around close to Asia and then back toward Africa....hope this helps

It did run counter-clockwise (with Africa as 12) a few weeks ago.

The parade runs counter-clockwise, beginning in Harambe Village at the gates just outside Kilimanjaro Safari and returning there as well. The absolute best parade viewing, IMHO, is in Harambe Village upon it's return, as most of the crowds will have followed the parade towards the park exit upon it's first pass.
