AK or MGM? Which park for 3 day trip? *UPDATE*

I like AK more than MGM but I'm not a thrill ride guy so I don't do ToT or Rocking Roller Coaster.

Like I said, we are going back next February for 8 days, so whatever we don't do in April, we will get done next year.

Thanks again and keep the ideas coming!

Knowing that you are coming back the next year is the best thing because then you can relax and totally enjoy which ever park you choose and not be worrying that it is your only chance to be there. I found this mind set to be helpful in keeping me from reverting to my park commando tendencies (which were a damper on enjoying my first family trip to WDW :rolleyes2 ).

We are doing 3 days at the parks and chose MK, MGM and AK. May I ask why you chose Epcot? I find that park to be on the "educational" side as opposed to the "entertainment" side. That's just our opinion. But if you still wanted to do Epcot, then I would say go with MGM.

We are including Epcot in our plans b/c my boys just adore Test Track. They also love Soarin, Turtle talk, Innoventions, Figment, the Kidcot Fun stops, Myuki, all the entertainers, and the food. We all love Epcot!

I asked my boys this morning which park they would choose, and wouldn't you know it, one picked AK and one picked MGM. DS3 could care less. UGH! Still not sure what to do. I am going to make some lunch ADR's for MGM, just in case. If we can get the new "Toy Story" meal, we will be all over MGM.

EE is a great ride, I have been on it 3 times now (AP sneak preview last weekend). With that said, I think AK needs at least 1 more big attraction (if not 2) to become worth the price. For people like me who are ride junkies there is just not much to do in AK, especially if you do not feel like getting wet when you are there.
