AK or MGM friday morning 4/14?

Ok, unfortunately, I will be unable to make it to AK at rope drop. My friends have to pick up a friend at the airport in the morning, so we have to wait till they are done. So, needless to say, we won't be at either park at opening, since MGM has EMH. So, which park would be better in the second half of the day? I was thinking go ahead and hit MGM since we know we aren't going to hit too many rides there, just a few, and then we want to spend a little bit more time in AK. So my question is, which park do we go to first?

I'd do AK first then hit end the night at MGM. Just based on park closing times.
