AK or DHS?

Which park do you think we should for two days, AK or DHS? I was thinking DHS because we always miss a couple of things but I wanted to know what the rest of the Dis thought.

I don't think either is truly a 2 day park. I do go to each twice when I am on a long trip, but it is just to do everything again, and maybe just 1 or 2 things that I might have missed, but you can truly do everything in 1 day for each park. If AK has an EMH evening, I like seeing the park after dark, there isn't a lot to do, but to see every thing in the dark is very different. And I hear EE is great in the dark. Haven't made it yet in the dark. Maybe next time. I would call them 1 1/2 day parks. I didn't help, sorry.

Um...one day at each and the extra day at Magic Kingdom? ;-)

It's a tough call, but I think I'd do DHS twice so I could get more chances of riding Toy Story Mania.

I LOVE AK so I would be totally biased. But really, you don't need two days for either. You could hit them each for a full day and then if you wanted more time, do AK in the morning and DHS that night (assuming you have park hopper passes).

My kids also wanted to do it a second day. My son wants to play for what seems like forever in the area where you dig for the dinosaur bones and uncover the fossils. He was having so much fun though that I didn't mind. He still talks about it, and asks if it can be the first thing we do when we go to WDW next time. My kids also wanted to spend a lot of time back at the conservation station. Both of my kids also really love the parade there, so we make sure not to miss it, and get our spot early so they can see good. So we usually do 2 days there because of how much the kids like it. I also love AK, but if it was just me and DH, 1 day would be enough. But 1 day at DHS would also be enough for me. If I had to choose, I would prefer to do AK for the extra day.

I concur with the majority above, 2 days at either is a bit too much, but if I had to pick one, I would choose DHS due to the number of scheduled shows. Sometimes they make it difficult to see it ALL in a relaxing approach.

Yeah...really...neither is a 2day park, but I guess I'd vote DHS just to ride TOT continuously
