My DS has sensory integration issues -- the one that is the biggest issue touring the parks involves crowds. Stationary crowds like lines to be exact. After a meltdown that took over an hour to calm down from last Oct, he was given a GAC to use his stroller as a wheelchair so he could stay in it in line and be able to pull the sunshade/hood all the way down to block out the people. (he also go the stamp for alternate entry when possible to just flat out avoid the crowds).
I would really like to take him to see the Nemo show, but the large crowd that forms to wait in line an hour + before the show would be too much for him.
Would the GAC help us in this situation? Is there an alternate entrance that doesn't require as long of a wait in a crowd? Or???
Second part to the same question... we could look at doing the Tusker House lunch that gives you the reserved seating pass. I know that you are supposed to be there half an hour before the show and you go in the back entrance. BUT would there still be a large crowd that he would be stuck in for more than a few minutes?
We already have all our table service meals planned and all the counter service meals to use up, so we'd end up having to pay for the TH TS meal OOP if we did this. While that isn't on the top of my list (to spend more money...LOL) we would do it if it is the only way for DS to see the show.
We will be there between Feb 27 - Mar 7, so it should be lower crowd levels, but we want to have a plan in place in case it is busy.
Thanks for any help you can give!
