AK Lodge & temps

Question for anyone who has stayed at the AK Lodge and stayed around any of the resorts around the lake: Do you find the AK Lodge hotter, temp wise, than say the Contemporary? Since I find the AK park hotter than the other parks, I don't know if this also applies to the hotel too. When we stay at Contemporary/BLT or BW there is sometimes a nice breeze off the lake (I'm assuming its because of the lake.
We are thinking of going at the end of June for a quick trip, which I know is hot, but we stayed at Contemp. last year same time and it was nice at least in the shade.

I honestly didn't notice a difference. We did a BC/AKL/GF split in late July/early August and I can't say that any one resort felt "cooler" than another. I think the only time we really noticed the breeze helping was when we rented boats and went out on the lake. I would think it could make a difference, but we didn't notice one on that trip.

One good thing about the pool area at AKL is that there are lots of trees, and many well shaded lounging areas. The lodge itself is dark and a nice contrast to the bright sunshine inside. I've never been there in June though!
