AK Lodge character meal ?

I was just wondering if Animal Kingdom Lodge has ever had a character meal? I wish they had one now. I think they are the only deluxe that doesn't have a character meal. I think they need to have one with the Lion King gang or Pocahontas or now that Tarzan has fled to Hong Kong, a Tarzan meal. Anyone have an opinion one way or the other about an AK Lodge meal?

No, I like Boma the way it is, and there are way too many character meals now.

I agree with Laura, Boma is great how it is and there are too many character meals. I wish some of the Character restaurants just did selected days with the characters because would love to eat at some of them but dont wish to see the characters.

The Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge don't have character meals either.

I don't think AKL will have a character meal. I was chatting with a CM in the concierge lounge, and was told that the idea has come up, but that management does not think that there is enough room to accomodate the number of guests that a character meal generates.

Have to agree with there being way too many character meal places. We see enough characters in the parks, not to mention the fact that having characters in the restaurant means higher prices. I wish Disney would do away with a couple of character meals, instead of adding more. I'm so glad Boma is going to stay the way it is!

I like Boma the way it is. But a charcter breakfast would not be bad.

I would like this idea, if for no other reason than it would be a character meal WITHOUT the main characters. Enough with Mickey and friends, we see them all the time!

I'd love a meal with Rafiki, Timon, Terk, Tarzan, and Jane. Too fun!
