This is one instance where the Internet is spot on-this show was a total waste of time. Do not bother going. It is laughably horrible but don't waste your time even for that. You couldn't see the projection on the water, the people dancing were a waste. I just can't explain but I couldn't believe it was as bad as everyone said.... But it is.

Agree-- it gave me a headache. My daughter insisted that we leave 3/4 of the way through. Glad I didn't waste a FP on it!

We saw it last week. I didn't want to believe all of the negative reviews, but honestly, it was really bad. :sad2:

I am glad we skipped it, we did see the barges with the animals on them in the water at AK yesterday morning, good enough for me lol.

We will be there one of the last days it's going on. I had a FP for it, and a few weeks ago changed it to Kali.

We have the Tusker House dining package for it (we have the DDP, so no extra charge), but I am thinking we will just skip and ride Everest more!

We did the Tusker House package this morning and just got back from seeing the show. Definitely won't be watching it again. The kids ages 2-14 were all so bored and really so were all the adults. The older kids and an adult left before it was over to grab a ride on Everest in the dark. I will say they, man do they have everyone fooled. Our show was full and there was a huge line waiting to get into the 2nd show.

Wow-it really is crazy! I do think AK will be more crowded this upcoming weekend with people trying to get in to see it. Our kids are spread 2-14 as well! We aren't huge nighttime show people anyway, so don't know that any of us are interested in a so so show.

So glad I read this as we missed our FP last night and I was slightly upset. We were just so beat after the Wild Africa Trek to go back to the park. Glad I didn't drag my tired kids to a disappointing show!

We saw it on opening night (soft -opening, May 27) with a SDFP. We assumed the projections were so bad because they had to work some things out. Guess not! The singing was pretty incredible but you couldn't see the singers unless you were sat in the "middle" section - we were on the side. My boys were complaining the entire time, the dancing was artsy and weird. I can see why it's going away.

I generally DO believe the reviews on this board.

We had the dining package and canceled it after reading reviews here. When we were there last week we caught glimpses of the show on our way to EE. So glad we chose instead to ride EE four times in the dark as a walk on while the show was going on! Walking on to EE in the dark definitely worth it!!
