AK hours for Nov

I will be at WDW for the Thanksgiving week starting on Nov 20

I just looked at the schedule on disneyworld.com

for some reason on 23th and 26th the AK is opened until 8:00pm

the rest of the time it is 6 or 5 pm....

while so long on those days - is this a mistake -or is something special happening?

We'll be there at the same time. I too noticed the AK hours (they've been that way since first posted). I think they just anticipate crazy crowds those days. 26th--- I agree; 23rd---- I hope not.

We'll be there too!!! Having dinner at Boma on the 26th. I figured we could have a later than usual stay at AK and then over to AKL for dinner. There are a lot of things that we haven't done at AK in the past. Usually we go during the summer and it's just too darn hot to walk around there. But this time we're going to do the Trek and Rafiki's and just take our time.

I had though that regardless of the crowds - the AK parked closed at dusk...

because these are animals and need their rest plus peace and quiet...

now I can definitely see making the MK, Studios and Epcot longer hours because of crowds and yes they are longer - mk closes at 10:00 pm most nights, Epcot 9 or 9:30pm, Studios 7, 8 or 8:30.

but it just looks like something special is going to be happening at the AK....

okay is this due to crowding or is something special going on????

anyone know for sure?
