So, I'm struggling with my AK fp+ choices. We'll be there on Jan. 29th, 8am Tusker House adr (9am park open).... We don't do EE, my dd does NOT want to do Dinosaur, and Kali will be closed. Will I even need fp+ for safari if I'm going there straight from TH at 9am? I'm guessing I should just use them for Safari, then FOTLK, and Nemo shows? Would you do the safari twice in one day, or is once enough?

1. Will I even need fp+ for safari if I'm going there straight from TH at 9am?

2. I'm guessing I should just use them for Safari, then FOTLK, and Nemo shows?

3. Would you do the safari twice in one day

1. Nope.

2. Sounds right, in your case.

3. Yup (or more.) Every single trip on the Safari is different and unique, especially so at different times of day.

I used one for FOTLK, it was nice to know we had "reserved" space, I would think the same would apply to Nemo. Once is enough for me with the safari, but we have a good zoo in town

I think we'll do Safari twice for sure then, we are a full day from the nearest zoo that isn't really a good zoo, and we'll have plenty of time because we don't do the bigger rides. I'll do one at 'rope drop' after breakfast, and then book a fp+ for later on as well... and do the 2 shows. Thanks! :)

The Safari has very little in common with most "zoos," anyway.

I'm thinking that guests who claim that they don't bother with DAK, in general because they can visit
a good zoo at home… usually don't visit the zoo at home all that much either. ;)

DAK is a very unique experience all the way around.
(And, don't miss "Flights of Wonder.")

Yes, we're doing Flights of Wonder for sure! :)

Exactly. We do have a very good zoo at home that we visit all the time, and can't imagine a week at Disney without at least 2-3 days at Animal Kingdom.
