I had read before, that EMH in the evenings works pretty well for the AK. Does anyone have any comments or thoughts on that? We are going in a week, when it closes at 5, so it would be open until 8. I am wondering if that would better than going in the morning for us. We don't usually stay there all that long, we do the safari, Lion King and Tarzan for sure, and the rest of it, is what we happen to wander across while we are walking. Does anyone know what time the safari will run until this time of the year?

Thanks!

We did the EMH while there during the week of 9/19. Very few crowds during the evening - 1 performance of Lion King and 1 of Tarzan Rocks during EMH - the last Safari departed at 6:30 pm.

Hope that helps.

So, do you think there is enough time, and the shows are scheduled right, that we can see what we want to see? Does that make any sense?

Save time and avoid Tarzan its awful. TG its being dropped in 2006

I know it's being dropped, which is why we have to make sure we see it, we love Tarzan.

Anyone else?

When we went over the summer, we felt like we would've been pushing it to see the single show of Tarzan and the Lion King. My suggestion would be to see one or the other at its last scheduled regular hours show of the day and then see the other during EMH. Honestly, the Tarzan show that we saw was very close to capacity and with the EMH shows being so close together, you'd hate to miss something.

(Although I tend to Paul Pearce in that I HATED Tarzan Rocks -- the only reason we went to see it during EMH is because it was pouring outside)

we went during the wk of 9/11, can't remember which day. Nothing was open! We got there between 5:30-6:00. There was no extra safari ride, the last show of Lion King and Tarzan were both around 5, 5:15, Camp Minnie/Mickey was closed. CM's were turning people away at the turnstiles, telling them to save the day if they didn't have unlimited tickets. The only things open were the boneyard, the arcade area, triceratops spin, dinosaur, kali, and primeval whirl. My girls are to young for dino and to short for primeval. We had thought they could finish their kids discovery books, see the shows, and walk the rest of the trails. If we had known, we would have scheduled a 2nd AK day. Unfortunately, we didn't have another day to return. Oh well, another reason to go back!

Thanks everyone, this is exactly what I need to know. I think we'll schedule it for a normal morning day.
