AK Evening Carnivale- questions

Hi friends, trying to plan our arrival night, Nov 9. I think we will go to AK around 5 or so, maybe do an attraction or 2 and have some dinner.

One thing we missed last time was the “Carnivale”-
Thought it would be a great thing to catch our first night there.

1. Does it run ongoing or intermittently? the times guide lists it happening on the hour, but i sorta thought it was ongoing starting at dark.

2. Where exactly is it? Is it all over discovery island?

3. What is it like? Is it something just to walk past, or is it something you can sit and enjoy (or stand and hang out)?

4. AK allegedly closes at 8 that night. Will it run right up until closing or does it stop for ROL?

Trying to figure out ideal time for dinner- DD loves Yak and Yeti, was thinking of maybe making a 6:00 ressie so we could

4-6: arrive, catch an attraction or 2
6-7: dinner
7-8: Carnivale, then maybe catch ROL or hop in line for FoP

Carnivale is a dance party that takes at the stage across from Flame Tree Barbecue. It's a 20ish minute interactive performance that takes place 4 times a night (currently from 4-7pm)

However

The performers were just alerted last night that the show will be ending June 16th, so it will not be something to consider for a November trip unless they decide to bring it back
