AK entrance through Rainforest

I read this on another post:
The best tip I read was about entering the AK at opening. Someone wrote on here that you could enter through the outside door of the Rainforest Cafe, go through their gift shop, and out the other side to a park entrance that people don't really know about. It worked like a charm - we avoided a LOOONg wait to get in, and my husband was amazed.

?: So while others are in line at the turnstiles...You just go through the entrance door to Rainforest Cafe, Through Gift shop and onother side of park....Do you have to wait until the turnstiles are open..while others are going thru at the same time? Do you wait at the other end of the gift shoppe?

I just need more info on how/when to do this. I think it is a great tip.

I've used this entrance before, also, and it was a great time saver. The turnstiles were open when I did this, so I can't really answer your question. I don't know if Rainforest Cafe opens before the park, that would determine where you would wait, I think.

I'll just bump this back to page one for you so that some of our veterans can offer advice about this.

We used this entrance a couple of years ago. The CM's use walkie talkies and communicate with the front gate. They open both gates at the same time.
