If we RD for an 8 am opening and want to make a 10 am FOTLK, how much can we realistically plan to get in, assuming we should be at the show by 9:45 maybe sooner? EE is the biggest priority, (and we can utilize single rider) Safari, Kali, Dino, possibly Primeval Whirl all lesser priorities. This is during President's week. 8 am is regular opening not EMH.

I don't think you will have time to get all that done. The Safari is 30 minutes on it's own.

Will you have FP+?

If so I would do something like:

Everest
Primeval Whirl
Dinosaur
Safari (FP+) at 9:15
FOTLK
then Kali (FP+)

If you are using FP+ I would do

Dino
PW
Everest (FP 8:00-9:00) - repeat with Single Rider if desired
Safari (FP 9:00-10:00) but be there at 8:55 or 9 to make sure you have time to finish before FotLK.
FotLK
Kali (FP 10:30-11:30)

Without FP it just becomes a matter of what you're willing to risk missing. The Safari is ideal to do right before the show since they are in the same area and everything else is on the opposite side of the park, but then you are risking the longest lines. I think I would go, Safari, Dino, PW, EE SR, FotLK, and end with Kali just so you aren't walking around soaked.

Oh yes, sorry forgot to say we will not be using FP+ as we are hopping to DHS later and have booked them for there. EE is the only one we don't want to miss as we could ride it over and over! We are hoping to hit the others later in the week so we don't NEED to hit them all before the show. Also, we are "those people" lol who ride Kali with disposable ponchos, so being wet will not be a problem. Just curious realistically how many we may actually be able to before the show? Maybe we will hit EE once or twice single rider and then check to see what the wait time is at the safari before deciding what else to try to ride, if anything.

One of your main issues will simply be where they are located. I think you could do the safari first, then everest (either single rider or standby depending on current wait time), then either dinosaur and primeval whirl OR Kali...but not both.

I like the approach of starting in Dino-land and working your way around counter-clockwise...Dino, PW, EE, KRR (if timing is good), then Safari. If you are standing at the gate at 8:00, you've got a chance to do it all before FOTLK, so I'd focus on that 8:00 time more than anything else. We had a similar goal a couple of weeks ago, but the bus from WL took f o r e v e r to get to the resort and on to the park (stopped at GF after it picked us up at WL, much to our surprise), so we didn't actually get into AK until about 8:15, which threw a big wrench into the plans. Thankfully, we were in no particular hurry other than trying to take advantage of short lines in the early morning, so it wasn't really a big deal....but if you have set your goal because you have somewhere else you need or want to be later, that extra few minutes can make a big difference.
