AK busses at closing & bus to DTD

Have heard that crowds at AK thin out after the parade, so wondering how the bus lines are at closing? I know things are always crazy when leaving a park after a fireworks show, but not sure with AK. Anyone tried the new bus route direct to DTD? Is it very busy? We may give this a try.
