AK Breakfastarous

I know I totally didn't spell the name right. Whatever. I know this buffet is being moved to a different location by the time we get there, but I was wondering what everyone's opinions are about this place. Our son will be 2 and a half when we go, and we wanted to do this character dining for him.

I've heard so many mixed reviews....some totally great and others say totally bad. If you've been there, let me know!!

OMG! WE ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT! WHEN IT WAS TIME TO MAKE OUR ADR'S FOR THE DDP, MY HUSBAND WAS ADAMENT ABOUT BREAKFASTASAURUS. Unfortunately it is going away! and it will be gone before we get there.

I know that the Tusker House is going to be offering Donald's Safari Breakfast and I LOVE Tusker House, so I am hoping that it will be the same or better than before. I called on Monday for my 180 ADR's and the rep said that they should be able to make ADR's for DSB sometime in August or September, so I have it on my calendar.

i hate breakfastosaurus. hate it. with a passion. i've done at least half a dozen character meals at WDW and breakfastosaurus is the worst in my experience.

but i can't pass judgement on the safari breakfast. they change things now and then would could have a very positive impact on it.

ADR is an advance dining reservation which is a huge MUST if going to WDW as the DDP which is the disney dining plan and because you pay and get a snack credit, a counter service meal and a table service meal included in the DDP, it means that the table service restaurants are very busy and very rarely accept walk in's.

I believe Donalds breakfast is closing and it will be replaced at the tusker house but it's not accepting ADR's at the moment.

Was just there last Saturday and loved it. My DBF (21) was so excited for it.. he wanted to be a palentologist when he was little... haha

We thought the food was good (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes-regular and chocolate chip, fruit bar, krispie kream doughnuts, cereal... ) and if you want to hit up major characters we saw Mickey, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy-- all wearing little Dino Scout outfits, too cute!

I'm in the midst of writting my trip report and will be hitting my Animal Kingdom day tomorrow, probably, where I'll have all my character pictures up
