We have set up our first Christmas-time visit for 11-Dec-2008 to 16-Dec-2008 and, as usual, cannot wait! A question though, I can find all kinds of information on Christmas activities in MK, EPCOT and DHS but there seems to be a drought of info on AK at Christmas. Does anyone know what special attractions are at AK for the season?

Thanks,

Mike "GG" B

They have a special Xmas parade. Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. It's in the afternoon I think.

I think it may be the Jingle Jungle Parade??? Last year it was at 3:45 PM.

I went 2 years ago at X-mas and there was a good amount of decorations. The X-mas tree at the park enterance was good. A lot of wood carvings and such. There were no story tellers, or special add ons (Besides the parade). I'll be there this year the week of the 14th thru the 21st, so I'm hoping they add something new perhpas.

In Camp Minnie Mickey, they have the Campin Carolers musical group. In 2005, when I saw them, they were supposed to be a youth group from a camp, and they were so funny while they sang and stole each other's hats and stuff. But I guess others didn't like their antics (which I thought were hysterical), because when I went in 2007, the group just sang. They're non-published entertainment, but Steve Soars website has their schedule.
