Hi,

We've been to Animal Kingdom before, and were just in Disney this past February so we were able to do all the new rides / attractions at Animal Kingdom (loved Mt. Everest!).

We'll be back in Disney from December 25-30 and this will be our first time in Disney for the Christmas holiday. We're mainly going to see the decorations, Christmas shows, and parades and to do some rides, but to be too rushed that we have to do them all. We were considering skipping going to Animal Kingdom because we figured the parks would be so crowded, we wouldn't have time to do MK, Epcot, and MGM all in 4 days.I guess if we have the extra time, we'll make a trip over...but its not a priority for us.

Does AK park really do anything special that is worthwhile seeing at Christmas time? Have any of you been to AK at Christmas and how would you say it was?

Thank you!

I've been at AK in the weeks before Christmas, and besides the decorations, Christmas tree in front of the park, characters in Christmas attire, there was only one "special" entertainment, and that may have only been the year I went. They were the Campin' Carolers in Camp Minnie Mickey-I thought they were so cute to watch, and funny! I wish they'd return (how 'bout 2007, that's when I'm going again?), but I haven't seen them listed.

I only recall what the poster before me said, but I founf the biggest attraction to be that it was the least crowded park on C-Mas day!

Thanks for your help...I think we'll most likely skip it, unless we have enough time left to go. :)

They do have a Christmas parade but I don't know how different it is from the regular parade.

Like the parade at MGM, the Christmas parade at AK is done-up for Christmas. It's very cute.

I really enjoy just taking a close look at the decorations.

I'll have to look back at my photos; but, if I'm remembering correctly, all of the characters in AK had on Christmas attire -- scarves, hats, etc.

Now we're considering making a trip over to AK. I'd like to see the parade and the decorations (although I'm sure they won't be as elaborate as the other parks).

I missed out on seeing the Lion King show the last time we were there, and I've been wanting to see that. I'm hoping it will be worth the trip!

The decorations are great and they have a special christmas parade - jungle jamin parade

Try and stop by - it's very nice that time of year at AK also the humidity and temperatures are down

Cheers
