Hi guys,

Can anyone explain how aisle runners work? Is it better to get them from Disney or supply your own? Will they set it up for you if you supply your own?

WP is really growing in me so I'm trying to get all the facts together :D

Is there a market for second hand runners?

I'd want to get one in the states as lugging 64ft of cloth from London doesn't sound like th most ideal idea!

If its better to get them from someone other than Disney can anyone recommend a company that is reasonably priced? I'm thinking about a generic ...and they lived happily ever after but if the price is right I would consider a personlised one

What do you do with the runner after the wedding??

Sorry for my babble!!!

TIA xxx

I got mine from Event Bella...it had Happily Ever After and our date on it for $250. My WP laid it down for me and then cut just the area with the words on it to take back home.

Whereas we were told that Disney would not place an outside runner. I guess this is another area that we all get different answers for...

I've had another lady tell me Disney charged her $25 to lay it... got to love the consistancy!!

I ordered ours from Custom Aisle Boutique (www.customaisle.com) and I believe I paid $210 (including shipping). They were great to work with and it came out exactly how I wanted.

They placed it in the WP for $25 and then gave me the end part back after the ceremony. I think it is pretty common for the end to be cut off rather than rolling it back up, so I don't believe there is a second-hand market for these.

oooooh my goodness that is gorgeous, I love it! Will definatly be checking that out... and you got married on my birthday!!

What length is needed for the WP? I can't remember if I heard 50' or 75'

the Wedding Pavilion aisle is 90 inches wide by 54 feet from the door to the bottom step of the altar or 69 feet up the steps to the top of the altar

I found a super nice woman who hand paints them AND her prices are really good, too. Over on Etsy, her seller name is 'idoweddingdesigns'. I just messaged her... for the 50' runner, with the date and 'happily ever after', she quoted me $70 since I'm not doing a monogram or anything. They're really pretty, too. :)

Nichole I love your aisle runner!!!! Not seen one like that before.

Thanks for this thread Tabz, very useful as I need to order an aisle runner too :thumbsup2
