Airtran schedule changes

I booked a Fri-Fri flight. I really wanted to return on Sat but the $$ was higher. I thought I read that Airtran often changes flight times. How true is that? The flight is one of only 2 nonstops per day. I'd much prefer to extend this vacation an extra day....

Watch the flight closely. If Airtran changes the flight at all, call them and tell them the flight no longer works for you. I had a flight change by approx. 10 minutes and was able to change to the next day for no fees. Their customer service is awesome when it comes to flight changes. The agents on the phone bend backwards to make you happy, at least in my experiences.

My mom is flying Airtran for our upcoming trip. Her original flight was scheduled for late afternoon and after booking she really wanted to fly out in the morning. The flight was changed by roughly 1/2 hour and they let her change her flight to the early morning flight. As long as there is room on the flight you want you should be able to change it.
