AirTran reward flights- do they add more?

We want to book a trip end of Jan or beginning of Feb for 5 people using SW transferred over rewards. We were hoping to leave on Fri or Sat and return Sun or Mon, but there aren't any days that aren't marked as "rewards unavailable". Do they offer flights on weekends or are they just during the week? Should I wait or change our plans to use mid-week flights? Do they only offer a few seats per flight? I'd had one set of dates piced out, but when I changed the number of people from 2 to 5, it changed to "rewards unavailable".

Same with us, we are traveling in January and I was only able to get 3 reward seats and we needed 5. I took the 3 and paid for the other 2. I was informed that they don't usually add more seats once they are gone. Not sure what to do with my return flight yet, I'm seeing the same thing you are "rewards unavailable". I'm going to wait a little while before booking our return flights hoping to either get cheater rates on SW or rewards seats on Airtran.

On any airline five "reward" seats per flight is a tough "catch' So that's why when you changed from 2 to 5 it told you no. In other words they had two seats but not five (airline software is not programmed to return a message saying "we only have three cheap seats" it's an all or nothing look)

That said, airlines do often make changes, but IMHO it's more likely to happen LATE which means it's a big risk. What if they don't add the seats, then you might be paying a lot more as the "cheap fares" will sell out or not even be offered.
