Airtran out of Hartford CT?

Is that new? We took Airtran for the first time last year out of White Plains NY. I clicked on Hartford (BDL) but it does not fly to MCO. Thanks.

No, but you can do Newberg(stewart)...I just got 4 tickets through Disney for 617.20 which was better than I could do on Airtran's website (these are NS flights too!!!)

It is not new, because they don't fly out of Bradley. Wish they did, it would be nice for us passengers if Southwest and Delta had some competition. Philly prices dropped when Airtran came to town.

It is AirTrans partner, Frontier that flys out of Hartford. If you look below the section where you choose location and dates there is a note that "blue" - looks grey to me...highlighted locations are serviced by Frontier.

We love AT and fly them out of White Plains all the time!

We usually leave on a Sunday as well - we'd by flying with you this Sunday, but due to circumstances beyond my control - we are using LaGuardia - blech!

Anyway, we have flown July (last week), October (Columbus w/e) and February (President's Week) out of WP on a Sunday and we have not once had an issue with parking. We use the parking garage that is right across from the terminal (I believe it's like $23 a day now?). You may see a ton of cars parked on the sides of the driveway going into the garage - don't be concerned - those are leftovers from the weekly business travellers. We have always found a great spot either on the top deck or right on the main level...No matter which level you are on it's like a hop, skip and a jump into the terminal...so easy!

I would really be dumbfounded if you experience a problem...Have a blast!

It would be great if Airtran went to MCO from BDL! Unfortunately for us CT'ers we don't have alot of options for a non-stop flight. I guess we have to wait for SW to extend their dates!

We live in So. CT so Westchester is very convenient for us...I see Frontier, AT new partner flys out of BDL - so *maybe* they'll expand other routes from there now as well... It'd be nice for us to have that other option as well...

We live in Rockland County & are flying out of White Plains for the first time with Airtran. My question is this, a few posts here claim that Airtran is notorious for changing flight times, have you experienced this out of White Plains? If so were the changes major or minor.

I grew up in Westchester & in all my 38 years, I have never flown out of White Plains. I drive by it all the time on 684, so I am super excited for the quick drive over the Tappan Zee bridge. It is so much better than driving to JFK or LGA!!!!

Any changes we have experienced (once, maaaaybe twice) were minor - like minutes...

Now, don't ask me about Delta or American! - blech - every single time I flew either one (which is NEVER since I've found AirTran...) they have changed the "same" flight up to five times!! So frustrating.

I hope you love AT out of WP as much as we do - and yes, even though we're coming from the other direction - the 45 minute ride is awesome! No CRAZY NY traffic, no dealing with tolls...
