I am doing the happy dance. I have been checking flights like crazy and was waiting for April 17th when SW plans to release their schedule, but this morning I checked and airtran lowered their fares. I got round trip for $129 per person from BWI to MCO. That is a good enough deal for me, so I booked it. So excited. Seems more official now that we are going to Disney now that our airfare is booked. Now I need to wait till the 21st to make our ADRs and most of our planning will be over.

We are flexible with our dates. It seems cheaper to fly out on Saturday and we are coming back on a Monday. It's was cheaper to pay the extra night at a value, then to fly back on a Sunday for us.

I had the same expericence when checking fares on AirTran's site last night for December 4-16. Fares that had been $151 each way from BLoomington, IL were $86 each way (plus taxes) - so I bought my ticket.

I just booked through Air Tran yesterday for $51 per person each way non stop flights from PHL to MCO. I couldn't get the $51 fare for our original departure date of 9/24, but they did have the $51 fare for the 23rd so i called Disney right away and was able to add a day to my ressie (bounceback free dining) , than booked my airfare for under $500 total for 4 of us!

Ugh! I'm so annoyed! I noticed the price of our flights had gone down a little over $30 each, but couldn't book due to DH STILL not knowing if his vacation is approved and now they are back up again. This is really ticking me off! We aren't going until December, so hopefully there will be another special.

Sorry the prices went back up. I bought our tickets this morning, checked this afternoon and they are $90 higher per person now then what I paid this morning. We are paying $129 round trip and for the last month or two the tickets had been $219 and they are back to $219. I wonder if they had a glitch in their system. Or if Frontier filling for bankruptcy has anything to do with it...

sometimes they change their prices 3x in one day.. I have found no pattern at all.
